The Folsom Dog Resort is home to Jason Davis, better known as The Dog Guy™. Jason, co‑owner of The Folsom Dog Resort and Dog Training Center has developed a reputation of excellence in dog training. His effective dog training solutions for both dogs and their owners have helped hundreds of families build better relationships with their dogs.

Jason has become very well known in the greater Sacramento area for his effective dog training approach. Jason works with dogs of all breeds, all ages, and all issues. He uses a balanced approach to dog training, identifying the best type of training and tools for the dog. In order to do this, Jason builds a relationship with every canine and provides dog training at the dog's pace.

Dog owners like working with Jason because of his positive personality and his calm demeanor with their dogs. Jason also works well with all family members including the kids because it's important they all know the commands in order for the dog training to remain successful.

Specializing in dog training and behavior modification, Jason is one of the elite dog trainers who has received referrals from Cesar Milan's (star of the hit series Dog Whisperer) Dog Psychology Center. Jason received his Certification of Dog Trainers through the International School for Dog Trainers. There Jason worked with several influential mentors, including internationally renowned dog trainer, author, and successful commentator in the world of dogs, Martin Deely (The Florida Dog Trainer) and certified dog trainer and president of the International Association of Canine Professionals, Marc Goldberg.

Jason's expertise as a dog trainer and behavior consultant has fortified his reputation as the "The Dog Guy" and made him a proud co‑owner of Folsom Dog Resort.
